Gig Tax Dates is an independent, free reference for gig workers and the self-employed in the United States. It is a small project, not a tax firm, and is not affiliated with the IRS or any state agency. It does not claim to be the only or the most complete resource.

How facts are handled

Every date, rate and threshold links to the IRS, SSA or state agency page it came from, with the date we last checked it.
State rows are marked Verified only after we read the state's own page or form. Other states are marked Not yet checked and link to the state agency.
Third-party summaries are not used as sources, because they sometimes disagree with state pages.
Calculators are simplified, run only in your browser and are not tax advice.

Corrections

A public correction channel is not set up yet. Each fact links to its source so you can check it. If a date here differs from your state or the IRS, trust the official source.
